Scion Art Advisory is an independent practice advising collectors, estates, and institutions on works spanning four centuries — from Old Masters through contemporary practice. We work outside auction house and dealer incentives, evaluating each work on the evidence: documented ownership history, technical and stylistic analysis, and currentmarket data.

Engagements range from a single opinion on a work under consideration to sustained advisory relationships covering acquisition, insurance valuation, estate planning, and collection stewardship. Every assignment begins with the same discipline: establish what is known, be explicit about what is not, and let that evidence — not sentiment — determine the recommendation.
